A few days ago Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre wrote an article title ‘Stand & Fight’. He states, “tens of millions of Americans are already preparing to Stand And Fight to protect their families and homes. These good Americans are prudently getting ready to protect themselves.”
The basis of the story is literally a call to arms. Meaning, ‘good citizens’ of the United States should go purchase a firearm to protect themselves and their families from the potential of many looming disasters that could befall this country.
“During the second Obama term, however, additional threats are growing. Latin American drug gangs have invaded every city of significant size
in the United States.”
“When the next terrorist attack comes, the Obama administration won’t accept responsibility.”
“A heinous act of mass murder…will be the pretext to unleash a tsunami of gun control.”
“President Obama is leading this country to financial ruin. Nobody knows if or when the fiscal collapse will come, but if the country is broke, there likely won’t be enough money to pay for police protection.”
“Hurricanes. Tornadoes. Riots. Terrorists. Gangs. Lone criminals. These are perils we are sure to face—not just maybe. It’s not paranoia to buy a gun. It’s survival. It’s responsible behavior, and it’s time we encourage law-abiding Americans to do just that.”
“The enemies of the Second Amendment will be met with unprecedented defiance, commitment and determination. We will Stand And Fight.”
What he says is logical and makes sense. Liberals and the media will belittle these ideas because a well armed populace does not allow them to ‘fundamentally transform’ the country. Also, we need to remember what Obama said back in his 2008 campaign. Take it to heart and never forget it. Ask yourself, “Why” would Obama make such a statement?
The Founders of this Country ‘fought’ to form it. We have an obligation to fight to keep it.
